I bought these strawberries as an anniversary gift for my husband. An expensive splurge ($86 for twelve strawberries?!). They came on time which I was very grateful for. Thankfully I checked the strawberries before giving them to him. They were completely melted, moldy, and smelt awful. Completely ruined everything. You would think that a business where they specialize in strawberries that they could actually do what they're meant to and send them intact and keep them from melting. After following up a couple of times, I received a refund. I am very disappointed and have been out off from ever ordering chocolate strawberries again.

Looking online for a specialty treat to send as a thank you gift was not an easy task until I stumbled upon gourmet gift baskets. I’m hoping it was a hit since the recipient should be the one giving the review. I would like to comment that I bought both the Sea Salt Carmels and the Chocolate covered strawberries going to the same location yet I had to pay 2 huge shipping charges because the order was seen not as 1 but 2. That was disappointing and something to consider when ordering multiple for same destination.

Due to new address UPS didn’t deliver on time,when they arrived a week later they were a mess. Company was great about sending them out to us again. This time UPS knew where we were located. Unfortunately the strawberries were still not in the best shape. The ice wrap to keep them cold was melting and the top of the box that the berries were in was wet. I gave them a 3 star as they tasted ok, but they not what we expected. They were very large but caramel was hard what there was of it.

I had these delivered as a surprise from my mom on my birthday a couple weekends ago, and they were horrible. Between overly salted and thick chocolate, and half of the strawberries still not ripe - I’m really not sure if I just got a dud of a box or if people lied about enjoying these.
