Strawberry Festivals

There are many strawberry festivals held around the world each year in celebration of strawberries. Each strawberry festival is unique, but some of the common elements are often a youth pageant, carnival rides, carnival food, booths selling homemade goods, strawberry shortcake, musical performances, cattle judging, art contests, and baking competitions.

Most strawberry festivals charge a small entrance fee, but it is well worth it to experience strawberry related fun for an entire day or weekend. Lehigh Acres, Florida Strawberry Festival – February 11, 2012, 3-6pm. The church is The First Community Congregational Church. The address is 200 E. Leeland Heights Blvd. Lehigh Acres, Florida 33936. There also will be a 50/50 raffle as well as little items for a raffle drawing during the festival. There will be a Bounce House for the children. They will be serving ice cream, cake, strawberries, hotdogs, pulled pork sandwiches, soda, and chips for sale.
