4 Delicious Valentine’s Day Cocktails

Valentine’s Day is all about indulging while you celebrate romance. Whether you’re single this Valentine’s Day or you have someone special to share it with, these cocktails will make your night extra special. Here are some of our favorite choices.

Double Chocolate Martini

On Valentine’s Day, a single serving of chocolate isn’t enough. That’s why we love these double chocolate martinis! Both dark chocolate and milk chocolate liqueurs are mixed with vanilla vodka to make this a classic choice for any chocolate lover. Add ice to a cocktail shaker then pour in 1 shot of vanilla vodka, 1 shot of white chocolate liqueur, and 1 shot of cream; shake vigorously until well combined. Swirl a martini glass with dark chocolate syrup. Pour the mixture into the cocktail glass and gently pour the dark chocolate liqueur into the glass over the back of a spoon so it floats on the top. Garnish with shavings of dark baking chocolate.

Strawberry Margarita

If you’re more of a tequila fan, you’ll love to drink this strawberry margarita on Valentine’s Day! Not only is strawberry a classic fruit flavor of romance, but it is also colored a beautiful shade of red, which is reminiscent of Valentine’s Day. To make a pitcher of strawberry margarita, add 2 cups crushed ice, ½ cup frozen strawberry puree, 1 cup silver tequila, the juice of 2 limes, a splash of triple sec, and a splash of simple syrup or agave juice to a blender and pulse until the ice is pulverized and all the ingredients are combined. Pour into margarita glasses and garnish with a lime wedge.

Raspberry Mocha Coffee Cocktail

Is it cold out this Valentine’s Day? Don’t let that stop you from having a cocktail or two! Try serving this raspberry mocha coffee cocktail to warm you up. It uses decadent raspberry liqueur and is sure to keep you feeling romantic on a cold day. Add 1 shot of chocolate liqueur and 1 shot of raspberry liqueur to the bottom of a glass coffee mug. Top the drink with hot coffee or espresso and garnish with a dollop of whipped cream just before serving. If you like white chocolate better than milk or dark chocolate, feel free to substitute the chocolate liqueur for white chocolate liqueur. You can also garnish your drink with marshmallows instead of whipped cream.

Coconut Kiss Cocktail

The Coconut Kiss cocktail is perfect if you’re looking for something delicious and romantic that doesn’t require alcohol. Of course, you could easily turn it into an alcoholic cocktail by adding a shot of light rum to it. However, this is so delicious, you won’t even miss the alcohol. Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice. Add 1 ounce of cream, ¾ ounces of coconut cream, 1½ ounces of cherry juice, 1 dash of grenadine syrup, and 1½ ounces of apple juice and shake vigorously. Fill a cocktail glass halfway with ice and pour the cocktail over the ice.
