White Chocolate Dessert Recipes to Try

When it comes to chocolate, we don’t discriminate: dark, milk, white – we love it all! However, we think that white chocolate sometimes doesn’t get the attention that it deserves. That’s why we’ve decided to share some of the most popular white chocolate dessert recipes out there:
White Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients:
- 3 cups flour
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- ¾ cup margarine
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- 1 (12 ounce) bag white chocolate chips (recommendation: freeze before adding to the dough)
Directions:
- Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Cream together margarine and eggs until smooth. (Add eggs one at a time)
- Add the granulated sugar followed by the brown sugar.
- Add the flour 1 cup at a time.
- Add vanilla, salt, and baking soda.
- Add the white chocolate chips 1 cup at a time.
- Bake in the oven for 12-13 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and transfer to a cooling rack.

White Chocolate Cranberry Cookies
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 cup dried cranberries, chopped
- 3/4 cup white chocolate chips
- 3/4 cup macadamia nuts, chopped
Directions:
- Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- With an electric mixer, cream the butter and both sugars together until smooth. Add the vanilla and egg, mixing well.
- Sift together the flour and baking soda. Spoon the flour mixture gradually into the creamed sugar mixture.
- Stir in the cranberries, white chocolate chips, and macadamia nuts.
- Drop by heaping spoonfuls, about 2 tablespoons, onto the prepared baking sheets, 2 inches apart. Bake one sheet at a time until lightly golden on top and the edges are set, 12 to 15 minutes.
- Cool on the sheet about 5 minutes, and then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

White Chocolate Mousse
Ingredients:
- 4 egg yolks
- ¼ cup sugar
- 2 1/2 cups whipping (heavy) cream
- 1 cup white baking chips
- Chocolate curls, if desired
Directions:
- Beat egg yolks in small bowl with electric mixer on high speed about 3 minutes or until thick and lemon colored. Gradually beat in sugar.
- Heat 1 cup whipping cream in 2-quart saucepan over medium heat just until hot. Gradually stir at least half of the cream into egg yolk mixture, then stir back into hot cream in saucepan. Cook over low heat about 5 minutes, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens (do not boil).
- Stir in baking chips until melted. Cover and refrigerate about 2 hours, stirring occasionally, just until chilled.
- Beat 1 1/2 cups whipping cream in chilled medium bowl with electric mixer on high speed until stiff. Fold refrigerated mixture into whipped cream. Spoon mixture into parfait or wine glasses. Garnish with chocolate curls. Store covered in refrigerator.
